Bayaran Royalti Keatas Minyak Dan Gas Dengan Kadar 5% Tertunggak
Walaupun kegagalan KKM yang disenaraikan diatas dan juga kegagalan yang tidak disebut sangat terang dan jelas kepada semua, namun pemimpin pemimpin kerajaan Sarawak ( dulu dikenali sebagai BN Sarawak) masih juga mahu sebantal dan setilam dengan pemimpin pemimpin Malaya didalam KKM. Sejak Sept 1963, kerajaan BN Sarawak dan kini GPS telah bertukar daripada bagi betis kepada bagi paha. Apakah mereka akan serah kepada KKM dimasa depan jika kita terus biar mereka menjadi kerajaan tanpa kawalan dan batas?
Jadi kita tertanya tanya mengapa? Mengapa kerajaan GPS Sarawak sanggup membongkok kebelakang demi membolehkan KKM terus menindas dan meminggir Sarawak? Jawapan nya senang sahaja : Kerajaan PN dan varian barunya iaitu KKM telah diwujud dan ditegak dengan sokong dan kerjasama GPS. Secara lansung, kerajaan GPS Sarawak juga bertanggungjawab memberi peluang keemasan kepada PAS untuk menjadi sebagai sebahagian daripada kerajaan persekutuan pada julung kalinya.

Apakah yang kerajaan GPS Sarawak boleh buat jika bayaran royalti O&G telah dibayar dengan sepenuhnya pada masa yang tepat?
Pertama sekali kerajaan Sarawak boleh memulakan program dan inisiatif untuk mengeluarkan sebanyak 67,000 keluarga anak Sarawak yang pada masa ini hidup merana dalam keadaan dibawah paras kemiskinan. Kedua, kerajaan Sarawak boleh terus memberi pertolongan dalam bentuk tunai kepada semua keluarga B40 yang sedang hidup menderita kerana ditekan oleh kenaikan harga semua barang keperluan.

5% Royalty On O&G Unpaid
The Kerajaan Keluarga Malaysia (KKM) has not paid Sarawak the 5% royalty on O&G although mandated by law and in the process deprived Sarawak of much needed funds. The upward spiraling prices of all essential daily goods is not effectively controlled. Poverty rate in Sarawak, among the highest in Malaysia too is not controlled and reduced. Repairs and upgrading of dilapidated schools in Sarawak are unduly delayed. Autonomy in the medical & health and in the education sector is not even a dim light in the distant horizon yet. Sarawakians are denied opportunity employment as teachers in the education sector and in other areas of the federal civil service. The annual allocation for Sarawak in the national budget completely does reflect the status of Sarawak as an equal partner in the federation neither does it reflect the GPS government role as king maker in the formation of the KKM.
Despite all these failures and the many others not mentioned here and for reasons unknown to ordinary Sarawakians, the leaders of the GPS government of Sarawak (in the past Sarawak’s chapter of BN) insist on cohabiting with something that has proven itself to be a huge liability to Sarawak. Since Sept 1963, the BN government in Sarawak and now GPS had moved from ‘ bagi betis dan selanjutnya bagi paha ‘. Who knows what they will give away to the federal government if we continue to allow them a free reign on governance in Sarawak.
So we ask why? Why is the GPS government of Sarawak bending over backward to accommodate the KKM government in Putrajaya. The answer is simple : Kerajaan PN and its variant the KKM was formed with the help of GPS. It would be fair to say that the KKM was the creation of GPS. In the process of creating the KKM government GPS knowingly gave PAS the opportunity to be part the federal government - for the very first time.

What can the GPS government of Sarawak do with the 5% royalty on O&G if it was paid to Sarawak?
For one, the Sarawak government can initiate and fund programs to uplift 67,000 Sarawakians households who are presently living below poverty line. Secondly, the government can continue to provide cash aids to all the B40 households in Sarawak to help these families weather the effects of rising food prices.
